Witherbloom is a dark fantasy survival action RPG developed by Ever Curious Entertainment on Unreal Engine 5, it is scheduled to release in Early Access at an indetermined time.
During my 1+ year tenure on the project, I was employed as the sole Combat Designer. I had been in charge of:
- Designing & iterating on core combat (player)
- Creating & implementing player classes and skills trees
- Designing & implementing enemies, including:
- Ability Properties (timing, rhythm, distance, etc.)
- AI combat behavior (behavior trees)
It unfortunately came to an end, after a year and some, due to the studio being out of budget to keep me on board.
